I lost weight?

I was very suprised when people start commenting on how much weight i've lost. Truth is, it was not that many kilos off. Just a couple or two only. I,myself don't see any difference in any parts of my body getting any smaller.

I guess taking in protein shakes and supplements really helps. This is from my own point of view since i, myself have been constantly consuming it. For those, who weren't believers of supplementation, well, who am i to say. You are in charge of your own mind and body, so think whats best for yourself. I am just going to share with you on my experience as a consumer. I was not a believer of any sort of vitamins. NEITHER were my entire family.

We used to have this mindset planted in our roots that if you are sick, then go get a doctor and seek for some medical attention. I used to think that people who consumes vitamins were sick retards because we always have this mindset that tablet looking things are medicine and they are naturally for sick people. And what happens when you get to see them eating a handful of tablets at one go? Weird? Yes? NO?

It all started when i was really in need of some weight management help! I tried a lot of things. From jamu, a traditional indonesian brewed thingy that smelled like burnt tyres to a very famous japanese invention which had been said to allow one to lose 3 kg in 3 days and 6 kg in 6 days. Pfft! i can still memorize the tagline from the ad which was in malay ( Berat badan saya turun 3kg dalam 3 hari * switched position* dan 6 kg dalam 6 hari (*Insert prodName) Sungguh MEMUASKAN! WAK LU!

Nothing worked. I got so frustrated, that i combined everything at one go with the idea of having an effective outcome. Kirekan double effect la kan. Padahal, padahal! Things got worse. My menstruation cycle went haywire. It will come and go as and went they feel like it. My mom even thought i had done something wrong just coz i didnt have any lapse for the entire fasting month! It was oh so dramatic and funny at the same time. Then, i started reading up a lot. That is the only way to learn and to know.

Well, of coz you can always get the doctor to check on you but the only thing that they could prescribe for me at that point in time was some menstrual medication to regulate my cycle. That too came in a form of drugs. I began to wonder whether is there a much less hazardous alternative? Like going natural and let it naturally flow on its own. The more reading up being done, the more excited i get about nutrition. And do you want to know why my cycle was playing peek a boo on me? SImple. Lifestyle. Processed food intake, lack of exercise and nutritional benefits. That was the answer.

We can't deny the fact that processed food industry are taking over the world. Almost every few steps you take, you can easily find a fast food restaurant. It's cheap and easy to eat. Right? We failed to realise the acidity content and the Fat content of it all. To top it up, our servings of any protein and fibre intake will never be enough to balance up our meal. If you think having like a handful of mixed veges on your plate would be enough, you must be joking. It is not even 1/4 of a recommended intake on an average human. That is where, supplementation comes in. To supplement your meal in order to balance everything up. It doesn't mean you need to forgo your food and go solely on supplements. Thats insane!

So much so, to start consuming it, Please do ensure that the supplement that you are taking are fully organic with no side preservatives. Like when you are consuming vitamin c.. Ensure that the sources are 100% natural. Do your research and not just buy things on impulse. I believe, when u are talking about consuming and applying anything in or on your body, you must always find the best. YES?? SO what i did first was to detox. BY detoxing, you will get to flush out all the excess toxic.

It's like rebooting your computer and set it to factory default mode. After detoxing, you will find that your body feels slightly lighter for you to start exercising. You will get to burn more calories that way as you wont feel as lethargic as before. Go slow. Start things one at a time. I am not talking about exercising like as though you are running for the marathon. Do things at your own pace and then gradually challenge yourself and increase the intensity. If for some, running is not your most favourite like ME! i hate running.

Try to incorporate interesting activities that you like. Like dancing or swimming or anything besides lying down and only let your fingers do the work. Take in Protein shakes that is soya based along with an antioxidant pack such as vitamin A,C and E. You might also want to take in Vit B and salmon omega. Vitamin B Acts as an energy booster. I always feel more energetic after consuming B before exercising. As for salmon omega, it is believed to boost up on your calorie burn.
I am still in the quest to burn more fats. I am not talking about going on intense drastic change because, well, lets face it, i cannot forgo my Macdonalds, KFC and etc. HAHA! SO for all you lovers who are also riding on the same treadmill as i am (chey bah) Lets motivate each other! Because if i can do it, You can do it too!

It's been awhile ain't it?
It's been very dusty. This site is officially as dusty as my neighbour's abandoned broom right outside my corridor. Haha. Merepek aje ( CRAP ONLY!)

A lot of things happened. Some were relatively good. And for some, well lets just say it's been a hell of a roadtrip..
Let's just recall some of the past events that i had insanely got myself into.

Like trying out for anugerah and cleared through till the top 200. I must say it was a job well done actually considering that i managed to overcome the past 1000+ contestants. Kirekan still got harapan la hor!

BUt oh well.. Mukaku tak cukup lawa (face not pretty enough!), so top 50 wasnt in my hands. Even so, i would like to give my greatest gratitude to sha and aini for coming by to support! I love you girls very very much and it really means a lot!

Especially to Yan who has always been around from the very start. Wa Caya Sama lu ah brother.. You rock! JAMAL ABDILLAH FOREVER!

Not forgetting, the entire platoon of Madi's residence who were there supporting me. I'm sorry it didn't turned out that well. My mother was exceptionally living indenial and picking on every single thing that might have gone wrong. Well, i kinda already expected that to happen. She has always been that way since day 1. It was the outfit, the choice of song blah blah blah.

On a brighter side of things, i managed to get myself a job. I think by now, 100% of the population in fb would have known.. haha, just in case (u) don't, i got myself a HR position. My work officially starts this monday. The only thing now to be worried about is what i should be wearing. I am in need of a suit. It's a requirement to be smartly attired at all times. Therefore, the urgency to go get em.

SO yea that's about it i guess. My life is a little bit boring ain't it? But that is just how it is. Plain,lengthy and less colorful. No pictures. Pictures are for very special occassions because i do believe that your life and what you are doing isn't for others to view and to comment. It's suppose to be kept close to your heart and maybe as a momento for something that you might want to refer back on whenever and wherever you want to.

Yan and i had a great time laughing about a friend of ours who spelled passionate as pashonate. That was the highlight of tonight's entry.

Saying I'm wrong and admitting that we're wrong at one point or another would be the hardest thing to say. What more to genuinely mean it. It's especially the most hardest to say to those whom we care for most or want most to care about us.

Saying I'm wrong is meaningless unless it comes from our heart,not just our lips.That often requires a genuine and profound change within ourselves,because we need to accept that we, can be wrong.Even if admission hurts,we need to realise that it's simply human nature that we make mistakes.

Saying I'm wrong shifts our attitude and opens us to the benefits of healthy relationships as we look for ways to be positive.It's hard to be wrong and harder still to admit to someone when we're wrong.But we need to learn that hard lesson.

Do you know in your heart you've been wrong but never truly admitted it to yourself or someone who should know? What would happened if you said to that person,"I'm wrong.You were right." Try it.You'll find it's not as daunting as you might imagine,and it will keep getting easier.

i haven't been doing much lately nor have i been out. These whole three days had been all about kids kids and more kids. I'm sure as hell all drained out and what i really feel like having is a much needed break. Yan's back! My sister's back! I was in a way sceptical about being left alone with the kids. 3 days was faster that i thought it was. wee... They must've had a great trip up to fraser's hill and i'm the only ones stuck here in singapore to do all the babysitting! i would have gone if it weren't for my parents who requested that i should stay and help. But no regrets. I do have my fair share of fun.

Come monday.. it's back to job hunting ones again. I've got the entire week all laid out for me. And i've got yet another cruise assignment come wednesday. This time it'll be at regent.

I don't know why, but suddenly i missed his lame jokes. Or maybe i just missed him. We haven't been meeting each other that much since we're pretty much busy with work.

lets have fish and chips again at our favourite place ok. And no more seabass for you. Just stick to dory. DORY! HAHA. Somehow that sounds real funny. You and dory really do have a lot of things incommon. Maybe even more than us. Glad you're back home.

Sometimes we love change and sometimes we hate it. Regardless, it always takes a little bit of courage to leave something familiar and try something new. Why is change difficult for most of us? Because change necessitates that we move out of our comfort zones.

Since the ego, or protective mind's job is survival, it will always prefer safety and security over the untested and unproven. It likes to keep things the same. It has us believe "the devil I know, is better than the devil I don't know." In short, "if I stay with what I know and what is familiar, I won't get hurt." This belief system is simply not true and goes directly against the laws of nature.

Most people are not totally happy and successful, yet they continue to do the same things over and over hoping someday things will be different. Realize if what you've been looking for was where you've been looking, chances are you'd have already found it! Doing more of the same even harder and longer is not usually the answer. Being willing to change will usually create better results.

Since your inner world creates your outer world, one of the first steps in change, is changing your thoughts. By examining the way you talk to yourself and your beliefs around success, money and prosperity, you are in a position to consciously change any thoughts that are based in lack, fear and limitation. Because what you focus on expands, by intentionally thinking of prosperity, abundance and success you will attract those very things.

Change is natural. The universe is in constant motion, from the changing of the seasons; to the way plants, trees and flowers grow; from the rushing of the rivers, to the wind that blows. Life is always moving, always changing. In fact, the only constant in the world, the only thing you can absolutely count on, is change itself.

I haven't had much time trying to update the blog nor do i have the time uploading pictures from the previous weekends. I still owe wiwit a.k.a "KUMAR" a video tutorial.. Truth is, i haven't even start getting into it. Wait la hor.. when i free i do! =)

Weekends spent at ritz carlton was simply awesome. Credits goes to abang of coz for sponsoring! I don't understand why people hate their siblings. I mean we do have our occassional mishaps here and there, but at the end of the day they will always be the one who wipes your(MY) ass when you're(I'M) in trouble! right?

I have never been excited over anything that concerns household chores. Its still after all Chores right?? 70% of time it's been done just to keep my mother happy. 15% is a "if-you-pass-go-collect-200-dollars". A free pass to go out and come home slightly later.. Another 15 would be out of goodwill! heh!

BUt i tell you... at 1:23am exactly today, something caught my attention and i was immediately sparked! It was with a metal cleaner.. I tell you! we had a connection. It and I! I had this bangle that i bought quite recently at an aldo accessories shop. It costs like nothing but i love it very much.. It was originally selling at around $26 but i got it for a bargain price of *drum roll* FOUR LOLLAR ONY!!

And since i bought it at such a low cost, it came with a price to pay! all this shop not BODOH(pentan) right! thats why only people like me will grab it and buy it as soon as possible.. Cheap skate mah! NOt cheap skate la actually.. It's called S-M-A-R-T! So it was originally goldenish bronze in color but after sometime.. Due to oxidation! (* this part act smart ony), the color went from gold to greenish black..

And because of this metal cleaner! i got it back to its original color by just a swip! Its 10 times better than brasso! SERIOUSLY SIA! i know because my father loves cleaning metals with brasso! He was also amazed by the instant shine!

I woke up at 6 today. No. Not in the state of being alarmed.NO snoozing, None of those nagging rituals by mom to ask every single soul to wakeup and pray coz apparently everyone in this house is a fuckin lembu(cow) when it comes to solat. The eyes just decides to pop up and straight away to the toilet to piss.

I didnt know what else i should do but to switch on the computer and surf the net. I seriously wouldn't know what i would do without them, internet. And i applaud muz for having such patience, with no life partners to entertain him at home every single day.*giggles*

I managed to catch slumdog millionaire a few days back and sumpah tak bedeh(swear i never lie), it was the most fuckin awesome movie in the history of all movies eh.. And i told yan there and then that i would want to go backpacking to india in a few years time. He gave me this *senget face* and his occassional eerr OHHH ookk.

I was telling him how it would be like to go there. It's gonna be crowded and hot and sweaty. If you can survive sungei road and little india, you're 20% there already. All he could offer me was a nervous laughter.

My aunt from kl came over. And she has the most shriekiest voice ever. If shriekiest is even a word on the dictionary to begin with. Her name would be printed in bold. i cant help it but seriously lady, Whats up with that tone of yours. Did the nurse smack your bottom way too hard while your mom was in labour,having you? Her mom would be my granny right? So yeah! While nenek was having you.. Sheeshh..

I don't have any motivation whatsoever to proceed with my studying. Seriously none! i'll just end up being a mangkuk and simply just doodle on the paper and right every single thing that comes out from my head. Irregardless of whether it should ever make any sense.

And have you ever experienced talking to someone who seems to be so full of herself, you just can't keep up with what she's asking or saying? And what's worse.. when she asked you a question, and before you even got the chance to reply, she starts talking about herself ones again.. the only thing that i could actually think about at that moment in time is, its either she's uncomfortable or she's intimidated. No ONE! gets intimidated by me! or there is?

Yan's recent entry seems angry huh? But i love the part about the "3rd-year-together-and- loving -it part. Kire romantic eh awak? SHEEESSHH! hahaha..

We've never been the kind who loves to show our affection in public. Especially in PUBLIC! it's just not something that we do or believe in. So half the time, people always think that we're not together. When in actual fact,we've been going "steady" for 3 years now. OMG! i can't believe i used that ancient word. STEADY or what..

For the past three years, we've been through a lot. And i believe that it takes a whole lot of work to make things work. Like what he mentioned earlier on, Understanding,trust,compromising,respect and accepting one for whatever or however he or she is, is important. Giving one another space is also essential. I mean, takkan lah nak mengadap muka one another hari-hari kan?

I can't wait for graduation. I can't wait for the photo shoot that we were planning on doing with our robes. It's like finally!! out and into the working world. I'm glad you're done with army,so in a way i've skipped that "gf cry coz bf go book in and serve the nation" phase! i find it so petty to be crying over petty things like that! But who am i kidding, i am not in that situation to begin with. Ha hA ha!

2009 would be a new ball game! i'm not saying that i am prepared and i'm not saying that i am not. But as scary as it may seems, at least i know, i have the support of the people i truly love and care about the most.

So this is just going to be yet another one of those totally irrelevent entries that i had to do coz im as irrelevent as i could be at times ain't it. I think of things,dream of things, say things that does not even make any sense. And yet still demand answers.

Like today, i dreamed of fluffy black and white rabbits and a whole lot of hamsters right on the dining table. What does it even mean? And the rabbits are so huge.. Like the ones that probably costs 700 dollars to purchase. That kind of huge. And i hate hamsters. I hate anything that looks like a rat. It's small and fluffy and shits all over you. Except when hamsters are cartoons. Like hamtaro. Or even chipmunks. Apart from that totally blurghhh!!

I was looking through my assignments and i decide to start on project management. STopped halfway only to realise that i'm actually BODEKING my way through with words like facade,embracing, capturing,accentuates.. Like who the hell am i kidding? That loo bee seng don't even care whether you use descriptive words in your proposal. He's like a talking bomb! I say i want a proposal.. just give him his god damn proposal. Clear cut! I don't think he even understands half of the words i'm using. So.. The mind starts wondering off ones again. I'm so screwed when school reopens. And the boys are bloody going to start screaming at me coz i'm the laziest amongst the bunch. Well not really...Its just that the two of you are just being TOO hardworking. Yes you, ZEE and you MUZACK! brandon,ashok and i.. or maybe even YOGA hasnt even start a shit. Well i did start so i'm a step ahead from the rest. hahaha.. Tra la la la la la la

And yesterday i had a good argument with faizal.. my 26 year old current best cum only-online-and-no-i-dont-have-feelings-for-him FRIEND. We were discussing about women and what defines beauty. And suddenly i was coming up with the whole hawa is made for adam and they are already matched in heaven. And why women are always so conscience about how they look.

Beauty is something that was given by god. Pemberian tuhan untuk wanita. It's a weapon. A tool for us that is given by him not to lure men but to ease them. That is what i think la. Because, everyone likes things to be beautiful. And men loves to see their partner beautiful. Almost to perfection. don't you think. And if beauty is being taken away, of coz we,women, feels a sense of loss. Even so, beauty is not only skin deep. What's inside also matters.

He was saying something about beauty being a destruction to man. It doesnt necessarily bring good. This part is true. Many a times, humans tend to abuse whatever they have been given. BUt then again, when god created us, dier pun bekalkan akal untuk berfikir dan hati untuk merasa whether whatever we're doing brings benefits or otherwise. So it's up to the individual as to how they would want to portay themselves la kan. Simply to say, nak jadi bitch or nak jadi CUB! cute and adorable or sassy sultry vixen? GRrrrrr..

I spent the entire afternoon today figuring out what to do. i did tell myself to write it down so i won't forget. Being myself, i procrastinate. A WHOLE LOT! Things that ought to be done are not yet even touched. And its already 9pm.

BUt on a lighter note, i managed to clean up my lingeries closet. And now, the freaking drawer is finally breathing again.. Yay me.

Yan's at work all day today..Aiyah actually hor, got nothing interesting to share one you know. It's been pretty much school and projects. Did i mention i have tons of projects and assignments that requires immediate attention? And i haven even gotten into that YET!
yeah yeah.. ahh.. do last minute again.. always like that one la you lala! later never sleep and then panic because cannot finish.. Kau nyer results tak bagus.. siapp kau! Ni dah last year.. tak mau main2.. dapatkan certificate tu dulu.. lepas tu nak buat ape, buat lah!

This was taken during my first year. Still single and kicking. Look at how my shades matches my scarf.

My first Love, ALAN. He was the school's fishing champion. He Skipped me right off my feet. Love, love,love.But we broke up soon after i got to know he was playing behind my back with another lady. Somehow he had an eye for the seamstress whom he claims sews the best cheongsam. I dumped him soon after. We do keep in contact once in awhile. The last i heard him was at 39d north canal road.

He's a millionaire now.

After a miserable failed relationship, i got to know a boy. He's name was ZUL. He was much hotter. HE could even speak japanese. And that's where i got my nickname. ISHIKAWA. But it turns out, he picked up that name after a man who invented the fish diagram. We were together for one year. But he had to leave for japan to further his studies. I didn't believe in a long distance relationship.True enough, while he was there, he met another lady, KHAIRUN!

Currently, he's a very successful businessman owning more than 17 businesses in malaysia. What tough luck!

This was taken during my last year. This was during our graduation night. OH i forgot to introduce this young chap of mine.
He's name is suhail. We dated for 3 days and we figured its a litle bit too weird to see each other since our faces are too identical. Dont you think so?!

As i lay down in bed, figuring out how short life really is. I'm beginning to feel terrified. So terrified of the fact that what if, one day, EIther one of us shuts his or her eyes. Are we prepared, really prepared for it?

It is true that at times we are too consumed with self that we neglect whats really important to us. We are so busy trying to make something of ourselves that we forgot the main reason as to why we did it in the first place. I began to ask myself a question that only ends up with sheer disappointment and self disgust. Have i been dutiful to god, to my parents?

A close relative of mine had just passed on this morning. Luckily we managed to see him for the very last time. As i stood right across his bed, i silently told myself, how would it be like being in the position of anyone of his family members. The feeling of being able to let him see you for the very last time. The feeling of having to hold him and embrace him as he lay there fighting for his life. What would it feel like? How heartbreaking would it be? I'm sure their heart skipped a beat whenever the heart detector produces a one tone sound.

It is true that we will all pass on. Definitely. But life is always full of surprises. We are always being left to wonder, When?

so i spent the entire morning painting my nails.
Fark. I hate periods. I hate having to feel like A limp person every other minute of the day. And Sleepess nights. Cheap kotex doesnt work. If not for the fact that im saving whatever that's left in my bank account, i would have bought something which has better absorption.
And wearing tampons are Not Necessarily for non-virgins. Thats really lame. Stupid misconception about tampons. Idiots.

So my brother just got back from london. And he bought me 2 pairs of smokin hot heels. WHICH! btw.. is a size too big. Thanks to my sister who always gives wrong information WHEN its really crucial. i have a really huge big ass pair of feet,like a size of a dinosaur. I know! So i really have trouble finding shoes. SOme of which doesnt even have it in my size. pathetic ain't it. Discrimination against the asian dinosaurous species.
Anywhoos.. i could still wear them.yay!

Everyone has been talking about hari Raya. But i'm not posting any of that coz simply... Tak JIWA ah babe.. EVen the sambal goreng isnt that great this year.Im weird like that ay! And i would have to skip jalan raya with the chio 9's as well. :(

Im cleaning up my house then im off to the warehouse to collect my goods and maybe back to school. Its really weird having to go to school when i don't need to. Its wednesday today. yay!

I think teenagers nowadays are getting very whiny. They Whine over petty things. They whine about how they look, how fat they look, how unproportionate their body really is. And they whine over their bfs.Petty don't you think. I don't know much about love but i just find it eekish to be talking/whining about it over and over again.

Love will come. You dont have to whine about when it will come. Why can't they just do the basics and let fate get to work. You've done your part, you searched for it.For him. FOr the one whom you feel would be your soul mate? Now its time for you to relax and just, well go with the flow?

And when u found one, u start whining again. This time, about something else. See i have issues. Issues with petty girls. When will they ever grow up and think that there's more to life than just a relationship. No dreams ah? I mean, when your parents ask you what you want to be when you grow up, your reply would be " well.. i want to get married, have 7 kids and gentel my hubby till death do us part"

What about how much you want to earn each month? what kind of car you want to drive? What kind of house you want to live in? never thought of that? all that? than i feel very sorry for you. Just continue finding HIM while i start achieving all of that? Maybe i'll borrow you my car when u get married?

Did i ever mention that work has been dreadful? Waking up every single morning to work is simply dreadful. Now im getting worried. The fear of not being able to work like a normal regular workazoid, who gets too attached to their company, its beginning to be like their second home. I have one more week to go and i'm out of here. Of coz i do miss those whom i always hang out with during lunch. And those (every-day-in--pms-mode) colleagues of mine who throws tantrums every now and then. That aside, i cant wait to get back to school and study for another 6 months. School is much more fun than working. Well for the fact that you dont get paid for studying, i think studying is much more productivy to a point of infinity. infinity and beyond. Its amazing how one simple name from one simple person could one day turn out to be so complicate for some to even remember. For the past 4 months i have been hearing people,colleagues mostly, calling me by any other name apart from my own. YES my name begins with a SITI and NOT, i repeat, NOT a NUR. Since most of them find it difficult to pronounce SU-HAI-LAH! i made them call me by my first name. SITI which also has the same pronounciation as CITY? i hate it when people starts calling me by my first name, since i'm young. Its just me. But its even more frustrating when they recreate new names.

I have some calling me minah.. Some even shouted TIMAH..your call.. right across the room.

I haven't had the time to write a proper update right after my trip back from fraser's hill. So it's kind of a good thing i got sometime on my own to fill up on all the juicy insights on what the others around me are up to these past few weeks.

Without a doubt fraser's hill was spectacular. No questions ask. Its sad having to leave the place.But at least we know, come october, we're going again. For sure.
Internship programme ended last friday. So i'm sure everyone, well most of you would be having a hell of a time for these one and a half month. As for me, i'll be extending my stay till the end of september at TREK. Wow wee..

There's so many things to look forward to. I'm so glad my life is working out just fine. And i do hope my friends are doing ok.
I woke up at 3pm this afternoon in a panic state since i'm suppose to be up and ready to head down to tampines interchange for the mass collection for my online purchase. This is what happens when You reach home at 6 in the morning.
You won't believe it when i say i actually spent the entire night moon watching at kallang macdonalds. But it's ok coz the eclipse was beautiful! How i wish i had the money to go to russia. It'll be much more amazing ain't it.

Next up..NUtrilite walk and carnival. Atc's bowling match next sat.. Wooohhh

Can't wait.. I Can't wait.
Yan celebrated his (insert no.) birthday today.
We manage to suprise him with a slice of oreo cheese cake and a nicely decorated plate and a candle to go with it. Got complimentary drink somemore you know..
At midnight sharp, the cake was out and the rest was singing a birthday song and he suddenly feel he's 21 again when he's actually (insert age)

So i cant wait for thursday. We'll be away for a short while. So don't waste your money smsing/calling us unless if its really urgent. We'll be back on sunday.

I just feel a sense of satisfaction having to splurge on nothing but skincare products. I think i've spent half of this months pay on face. SOme loves to splurge on shoes, some on bags. But i, i love splurging on anything that i put on my face. The need to take care of your skin now when you are young is much more crucial than having to worry when you are already old! Some people do take their skin for granted just coz they think that they could do something about it in future when they have the money. By that time, it would already be.. sad to say TOO late.

So i shall end this entry with a beauty 101 tips. Chey chey!

I hate cold sores. I always get them. And its always right after a cold or flu. It's like a freaking herpes attack right at the entrance of my nostril.It hurts, Its burning and worst still, it spreads.

I looked like a swollen pumpkin nose! And i cant do anything about it! The only thing is to apply aloe vera or vaseline to keep it moisturized so it wont get dry and cracked.

ERRRRGGHHH!!

HOLEE CRABB!

Its a start of a great thursday. I painted my nails. maroon on my fingers and bloody red on me toes. I think my hormones are stabilizing. And i'm a happy pill ones again.
Lets just hope and pray that i will be able to clock out right on time,Then, i can collect my online purchase and then to vivo for business meeting. Yan is doing a presentation today. There's a sense of satisfaction whenever i see him presenting. He simply gets better and better. And his communication skills is improving. There was this one time, we were exchanging opinions which in return turned out to be an argument via text, he came up with this very CHIM word. I had to look up at the dictionary for its meaning. Of course there would be certain unforeseen circumstances where he'll get all"mr-dory" ones again.

But i think, that's him alright! And w/o being dory-ish, he'll be a complete changed person! And everyone likes him for who he is. Lets just not go any further shall we.;p

So i was doing my work yesterday. It was 4:30pm. I was waiting for the thumbdrive to load. And i fell asleep. The seat was comfortable and i was sitting right under the air con. Who wouldn't fall asleep? You tell me.. WHO?! It was starting to get too comfortable. I fell into a deep sleep for 2 mins. It was dreamland. A dreamland that landed me right on the floor..What's worse.. i was surrounded by engineers. 3 of them. Left, Right and Back! They stared for half a sec and then looked away. My cheeks were so warm and red.

I'm feeling feverish. The kids at home are infecting me with their flu virus. I guess, today won't be such a great day after all! :(

Recently, we went to Malacca for a business seminar. We arrived an hour earlier and had a quick breakfast at a nearby Macdonalds drive-through outlet. Just like the ones here in Singapore. The food was of no difference but the service was a complete 180 degrees turnover. There was about 5 cashier counters available, but only 1 was open. It was not at all suprising since there were only a handful who came For breakfast.

A very sweet and petite malay lady attended to us. She was really sweet initially. But i took it all back the moment she starts opening her mouth. I Don't have any idea as to why she was behaving that way. Maybe for the fact that she roughly knew we were singaporeans. Or maybe, just maybe, she wanted to put her english language skills to use. I'm not suprised if she has a pocket sized dictionary hidden underneath her apron. I tell you, she was rolling her eyes and was acting all smart!

I Woke up today with a terrible sore on my legs.
The last time i had those was when i went for my napha test during secondary school.

Yeah..i haven't been exercising since. That explains the tub of lard resting comfortably on my tummy, thighs and my underarms. Sheesh.. imagine having to carry 20kg of fats every single day? Ya thats how much my excess baggage are! disgusting isn't it?

Ubin was fun. Chek jawa was windy. Although we should have checked the tide, it was great!
NOt forgetting the morning exercises with the diamonds. I was perspiring like as though i was just out of the shower.

Apologies. Sorry for the LONNNGGGGGGGGG hiatus.
I've been wanting to blog for the longest time ever.
In  addition to that, i've been wanting to revamp the entire blog becuase i'm beginning to feel irritated over that vain picture of myself.. Macam nak step maner nyer jembu je kans..

A lot of events are filling up my schedules. And practically i've got all my dates and events lined up.
But the problem with me is that i have too many organizers lying around that i can't seem to get all my dates and events in one book. As a result, i get everything, in fact  most of the dates mixed up.

It's amazing how i just feel nothing right now. I spent the entire sunday sleeping at home. Not forgetting that its mother's day.. We don't do much of that celebration actually,Apart from birthdays. My mother was not even enthusiastic about yesterday. So everyone just practically did their own shit. and in their own world. We somehow have our own special ways of showing affection to one another and its definitely not by taking pictures and smiling and telling the entire world how happy we are, but in actual fact we don't.

And yeah i think yan and i have been in our own worlds lately.. Its all about attending school, going for our business meeting followed by teh tarik sessions, furama hotel for workshops and home. We don't really go out on a date that much. I think its been ages! hahahah.. but considering that we see each other almost everyday.. Pfft! i noe.

Attended a boho retro party organised by wawa for her 21st at changi. And of coz.. we didnt wear any boho retroish outfit. Sorry wawa! But it was awesome. We didnt have any pictures except for the polaroid picture of us with the birthday gal. Yan was too lazy to bring a camera even when he has 2! And marni brought her camera without a memory card in it.
But its ok.. because there's tons of other camwhores out there where i could steal pictures from. whahahahhaha...

You know. I have this really weird obsession when it comes to public speaking. The adrenalin rush.

These past weeks have been Great. It's true. Doing something is much better than slacking at home like a log.

I've been holding up more responsibilities. The performance on 3rd may. The artistry workshop. The demo. It brings out the best in you.

Yan's doing great too. He's loving school now. God bless him. really.

And i've decided to stop being a make-up junkie.

I think its the best. Like for starters, I'm trying to avoid using make-up to school every morning.

It saves a lot of time since i normally take like 20 mins just to apply makeup.

SO yes.. i do look different. Haggard?!.

I'm having trouble with the skin around my eyes. Its dry and itchy.

And instead of covering it up, It's best if i just let it heal on its own. Let it breathe.

I have a major problem with people, Boys , Malay "Boys" in particular. Especially those who always comes in three's or more. The ones who loves to occupy the back seat of a bus and treats it like its their fathers. I treasure my 45 minutes beauty sleeps in the bus everyday. It's like a booster to me. And i hate for the fact that malay "BOYS" like them loves to disrupt it.

They will enter the bus like as though they own the bus and occupy corner back seats.. What is the freaking problem with sitting together if you want to talk? First of all, its not a double decker bus..Secondly you need to raise your voice in order to get the message across to your sickening friends.. And when you get bored, You rely on your cheap-o hp and turned the volume full blast.

All this happens when u "boys" are together in a group. All this happens when u locate pretty girls in the bus. All this happened, And i was the victim of you ~~people's~~boys immature self-being.

And when girls alight the bus, you just got to say goodbye, and wave at them by the window. Again, witness the immaturity level at its peak.

I was just about to alight as well,.. And that boy, that MALAY BOY, said BYE ~

I've always been a major fan of sex and the city. It was right after my brother in law brought back a set of season 4's dvd. I was hooked there and then. And when he bought the entire collection.. I was even more hooked. I was so hooked that my sister called me a sex maniac. HAHA! I watched it during the day, watched it at night and even after school. I watched till the end.

I loved for the fact that there's such a thing as friendship. A bond ever so tight, not even a man could break it. 4 different people with different backgrounds coming as one. It's not just about SEX.. it's about everything else. carrie bradshaw and the gals.

i just have the sudden urge to write. I hate going to blogs whose entries are nothing but vulgarities. I mean, it's ok to vent your frustration and all. And at times you just cannot control the anger.

But to have it at the end of every sentence is really an eye sore. " today's weather like CB. I just wished i could stay home and sleep like a ****ing log. Today my mother nag at me coz i came home late last night, WTF, i was not even out with my CB frens what.

Seriously CB is not such a nice word. The thought of vagina is already not so nice. ANd to see it written down is really disturbing. People like me, who has got to face the computer every single day, and would most probably be blog hopping most of the time wont be please u see. It's been vagina's vagina's andm ore of the punani talks from most of the blogs that i've been reading. It embarassing you see.

Speaking of embarassing, this morning was embarrasing. I was boarding 72 as per normal and decided to just sit at the top deck since the bottom is all occupied and i really don't want to be standing up for the whole 45 mins ride. SO i went up found myself a perfect spot. 2nd from the back. There was this ITE boy who was also sound asleep. SO i figured, at least that boy wont be going down anytime soon and i do not have to wake up and give him space to move out.

So technically we were both sleeping. I was already dozing off 2 stops after mine and i couldnt careless about any mats around. Be it handsome or hunky. When i'm sleepy. u jolly not dont come and disturb me. I was in a deep sleep and i didnt realise that my head was out of my seat. Luckily the bus jerked and i woke up. And i realise that i've found a nice spot just right on his shoulders. I went like " OH SHIT OH SHIT!" but that boy was still dozing off you see. SO luckily, we weren't in such an awkward position. What happens next? i continued sleeping la. BUt this time, its on the right side of the seat.

I'm fond of writing things when its long overdue. Why oh why?!
Final Year Project is such a waste of time. And my days have never been as productive.

I still couldn't get over the fact that aini looks gorgeous on her dinner and dance event last saturday. The feeling of pure satisfaction. I practically brought the entire warddrobe of cosmetics to her place just so we could get the perfect do for her retro night.

I am really considering going into that profession. WHo knows i could be another FATIMAH MOHSIN. She's fat and successful. Holla to all the big mamas in da house.

Have i ever told you i that i would really want to open up a spa one day. And it has got to be taken over my future daughter's name. But conventional business must come right after. So if it flops, i would still be surviving.

Yan and i was in town catching up on our few missed sessions of chatting. We were'nt communicating as much and so we thought that maybe catching up over meal would be a great idea.

We got to thinking about friendships and how one starts to pick and choose who their friends should be. Suddenly, i feel like everyone has got to wait in line till your turn comes, and even if it was your turn, it does not guarantee you a place in the " you're my friends" lists.

Must one require a resume to be friends with someone? Apart from sharing the same views,opinions and interests? what other requirements should be included in my resume?

Do i need looks and status to be accepted?

several types of scenarios one should look out for.

1) You should be good looking or pretty and if you're rich, then you'll be on top of the rest.

2) You need to have something that the other wants. In a way, when that person has got something that they want from you, they would either crush you up like you're somekind of a nutcase or they would just ignore and badmouth you around

3) Not forgetting the ones who claim you're one of them.. Pretending that they like you, Pretending you're someone they could depend on.. But in actual fact you're not. Hypocrites.

WHat should one do to avoid being friends with people like these?
Honestly i dont have a clue.. Not many put on an honest front when it comes to dealing with people. Not many actually got the guts to show their true colors. Not many.
Its all about experiencing it first hand and learning from the rest.LIFE.

Once upon a time.. there was a monkey. His name is MAT. Mat has a girlfriend. A cute chubby girlfriend by the name of ESAH.

No.. NO..not everything was sweet. Sometimes, things can go sour too. Esah is a very serious monkey. When she means business, it sure is business. However, Mat is a complete opposite of her character. He's always happy go lucky. And that always sparked up a fight between them.

Enough about them.. Let me introduce some of their friends..

They got to know each other from school. Very interesting bunch of friends. And from that humble bonding, it sparked 3 relationships. there was remy and juli, kasih and sayang and not forgetting Din and bedah.

However.. some relationships do not always end with a happy ending. Breakups are part and parcel of a relationship. Esah always reminds me that its ok to say no. Esah always have this mentality that in a relationship, both parties should be happy and contented with one another regardless of who and how they are. Its a process of getting to know.. to analyse and to make a decision whether that person is the right one for you. Some relationships end up with marriage and for some, its not that simple.

A friend of mine once said.. when two ppl get married is when two human beings who are complete and feel that there's nothing else to achieve, only then they should find a life partner and enjoy the rest of their lives with. Getting married with the idea of life would only be complete if u have a life partner is, wrong. How would one survive such situation when everything seems to go haywire. I'm sure both parties would not be happy. So what do you do if unhappiness arises? work it out? or just simple break up. Its every individual's choice for sure. There's no right and wrong answers to that. It a matter of how to handle the problem.

Ouh.. SO back to the story of Esah and Mat.

One day.. Mat was feeling terribly bored. Esah was having her time of the month and her mood swings were TERRIBLE. Really TERRIBLE.Everything seems wrong. So Mat decides to leave Esah alone while he attempts to humour himself and hopefully everyone around him.

And from then on.. there was so much commosion and anger in zali's blog. 4 indivuals were the most affected.

So the moral of the story is.. breakups happened. People should take some time to heal the wound, learn from the mistake and move on. Its endless when you start to question yourself on whose right and whose wrong. God is Fair and accept fate as it is.

One more thing, breakups is between two people, no other unknown party should come into the picture and make things go more sour. Again, they do not have the right to judge or to voice out their opinion if its not needed.

I cant help but crack when i go on friendster. Looking at all funny sorts of captions people could think of. And now there's even shoutout box for them to in a way send a message to a certain someone they hate or really love. Like a short blog. You want that someone to read and in a way make them feel that whoever you are refering to is actually them but indirectly.

There's even unnecessary captions which i don't think these "friend-hoppers" would even be asking. Do you think they would bother asking you where you got the picture taken or what would you be possibly doing at that time? But i guess other people's life are much more interesting than mine and they are just too excited about letting every single person who viewed know how exciting their life is and how miserable mine could and would be.

There’s just this ridiculous obsession with writing and sleeping the whole of today.

I’ve noticed one thing these past few days. GOD is fair. Like seriously. I’ve been observing
People lately, Mostly ladies. And there is no such thing as perfection. One was never born flawless.
Everyone should accept that instead of bragging. Embrace your imperfections. That makes you, YOU!

At times one can get a little obsessed with one’s insecurities, which might in return ruin one’s esteem.
People are just too particular about their looks and how people think of them that they failed to consider
that life is more than just skin deep.

And I don’t understand why some girls are just too worried about not being attached. All they talk about
Is love, Finding the right one and when. Like seriously, there’s so much more to think about. So many things
for one to look into. Things will come naturally and you don’t have to look for it to come. We’re way
too young to be even thinking about relationships and how dreadful it can get at times.

There’s even news about a girl being too depressed after a two month breakup. Do they actually be
Depressed over boys? I don’t know.. coz based on my experience of 2 and half years with faris..
I was the one who could easily move on and get over him. I mean it was hurtful and from what I remembered
I did cry myself to bed. But I was up and going right after. There WAS regular misses in between but that’s just that
COZ whenever that happened, I would just think of all the BAD moments that we had and how grateful it feels

Farewell 2007. Lets welcome a new year ahead! 2008.
People have been asking me about my new year's resolution. About a few days ago, i was online with one of my former classmate, kamal. We were exchanging ideas on what our respective new year's resolution would be. I told him that my new year's resolution had always been to lose weight. And yes.. it was the same exact thing that i've vowed to do since a decade ago. Somehow or rather the ideal weight that i've always been targeting doesnt seem to be on my side. I would either gain a few kilos or lose them. So basically, i've always been maintaining the weight ever since.

So.. i have decided that that resolution of mine, needs a little restructuring. I have chosen to be contented and happy with myself regardless of how cubby or round i look. I shall not be affected if people were to tease me. Secondly, i vowed to be more responsible and independant. I will not be receiving warning letters when 3rd year arrives. I shall be more punctual, or at least try to. The rest would be personal.

Anyways.. Countdown at THE CAGE with "extended family" was awesome. Eventhough we manage to get a glimpse of the fireworks from afar, it was all worth it. Having kids around and seeing them all excited was in fact more fulfilling than seeing corny adults partying away. I didnt manage to snap any pictures since the battery died off the moment i switched it on.

OH! yeah.. UBIN trip last saturday with chio 9! at least most of them were there. TOTZ and AINI couldnt make it. Overall it was fun but i swear, cycling uphill freaked me out! But cycling in the rain and the part where one of ishi's paddle came off was classic! I love you guys. Here's to many more interesting outings in near future.

Shutterfly's a BITCH! i spent 2 miserable days uploading piala khatulistiwa's pictures in it. And mind you, it has about 300 over pictures altogether. That of coz includes, 2 of yan's camera and one of khai's. I actually took the effort of dividing the pictures into subfolders and let it be a like a story telling book that people could enter and see the flow of it. But somehow the much organised slots of the pictures were disrupted once i post it online. Furthermore i had to delete some off since shutterfly could only accept exactly 250 pictures and i've exceeded around 50 to 60 pictures in total.

I'm getting pretty anxious about the projects since i have not started on any yet. And i'm quite suprised that even UNI-Q have not started on theirs. SUPRISINGLY shocking.

I've always loved taking pictures of the trees and the leaves or any form of greeneries right after the rain stops.. It has this very surreal and calm feeling. Everything seems silent and peaceful. Maybe that is what i love most about my neighbourhood. Peaceful.

Have been mugging. Or at least trying to. That adorable boy just cant stop being so cute. Can he just stop growing and stay just as he is now. Thanks to him, my lecture notes has got all of his artistic drawings and countless circles on it.

There was Once,not long ago, yan ever told me that getting a bike license would be good. For some reason i do find it a good idea as well.. Now don't get me wrong, i'm not into the " ouh my bf got bike.. wee free transport back and forth"idea ok?

First and foremost, its convienient for him in terms of delivery purposes, going back and forth to school wont be such a hassle anymore. Furthermore he has the tendency of ensuring my safety back home everytime we're out. So he would normally send me straight back home after dinner. Lastly, he could take up a riders job for extra cash or something.

His intentions were good and we were already into the idea. We even planned on what time of bike to get.

Many apologies for not updating as frequently as i used to.
Even though there's tons of things to blog about,
i see no point in doing it
But i do find it true and believable that blogging potrays ones real character.

I do find that people tend to put a false front when they are faced with another human being.
They are either too afraid of hurting or being talked about behind their backs.
Lets just face it, no one wants to be in other people's black book.
It's simply too dumb to deal with.

Furthermore, nowadays blogging acts as a tool for one to bitch about other people indirectly.
It's something that people just love to do. BITCHING!
So after one dreadful, sarcastic not forgetting surreal entry, a blogger will hit the publish post button and there goes the instant freelance reporters who has got no other job but to think and wonder who that blogger was refering to.

What happens after that.. news will start to explode after 24 hours.

Everyone do feel guilty of such things. And i do too. But from the way i see it.. it's better to handle things by comfronting to avoid itchy mouths from spreading wrong information.

I was being brought up in a very outspoken family. When we are discussing, people may assume things and thought that we are having a major fight. But thats just the way my family works. We laugh, we cry, we fight, we get hurt. But at the end of the day it all comes back to being one. At the end of the day, we still look forward to a simple get together in the living room and just simply slack.

Since young, i protect my rights and i get really irritated when it gets disrupted or touched. I choose my circle of friends. I don't mingle easily. I tend to potray a soft spoken front at first sight. I hate it when people don't look at me when they speak. I hate it when people take advantage of my silence and kindness. People mistook me for arrogance. But i am serious when i set my mind on things. When it comes to work, i believe in being professional. I believe that i should always fight if i don't see that i'm wrong. I'm a lion. Fear it, embrace it.

I've just finished reading a friend's blog. And i was really shocked by his/her entry since it was a very direct message to someone. I've got to give him the credit for voicing it out.

But dear friend, i got to say this to you. I completely understand the position you're getting at. First of all, you have to understand, being in any community... in any clubs or companies even families for that matter, Politics like this always occur. It does not ONLY involve that particular community group. In fact everything has politics in it. It's a matter of how you are willing to take it in your stride.

You are not wrong for voicing out your opinion, maybe by the way you express things makes it feel like you're wrong. I have to agree with you about some things which you brought up. Things that does not require the rest to know, tak seharusnya dibentangkan secara umum. But at times, when people are too angry or too caught up with things, they tend to make every meet up as an opportunity to express their feelings. It may be intentional, it may NOT be intentional.

I believe in being professional. There was no reason to get too emotional. And there was no reason to raise your voice. As an individual with a good leadership skill, they need to know how to handle matters professionally and not be overcome by anger.

I didnt bring the matter up coz i dont see a need to do so, And i didnt come to argue. Everyone was given specific tasks to do. Do not question or argue. If you're ask to do, be responsible enough to do it. Dont give any difficulty to the people whose willing to help.

And btw, Sarcasm should be banned! stop having little noices at the background. Its irritating and rude.

I apologise for those who feel that this entry have caused major pain. Its not about talking back, back-stabbing or what nots. This is my blog, and i have the right to address whatever that i feel i should. For any clarifications.. my lines are open 24-7. thank you

There's just a point in time where everything seems like fresh lilies, candies, rainbows and bunnies.

Everything was filled with Sweet words, big dreams and high expectations of things. I once thought that building the lives of others would be a bliss. I was wrong. Very wrong for that matter.

Finally, i've realised that not many could see the bright light at the end of the road and there's no use in doin or saying much. And there's no use in feeling bad about yourself for not succeeding.

I've come to terms with things. And i've made up my mind. I or rather we, shall move on with or without anyone's help. Period.
